Chronicles of a Jin-Mei Pilot: Sharing is Carebearing

It was the corporate channel again and since Summaires Mining and Space Junk Removal (SMSJ) is a family owned and operated corporation, that could only mean one other person on the line…
“Good evening brother,” Elizabeth said after keying her comm. ”What are you doing tonight?”
Alarus, eldest Summaires sibling and CEO of SMSJ replied excitedly, “hey Liz! I just got some great news! We have our first job and I need you right away! Can you meet me in Vittenyn with Survey 3?”

Survey 3 - 22,172 m3 effective cargo space (with 5 GSCs on board)
SMSJ had started small and with the idea to fulfill a special niche in the universe…as the corporation name advertised: Mining and Space Junk Removal. Interest in SMSJ’s services has increased and it was only a matter of time before the first business deal would be struck. A long time acquaintance of Alarus’ has always been fond of the SMSJ corporate business plan of contract mining and salvaging for mission runners (who are not interested in spending the time but would like the extra income). It was this same acquaintance that had comm’d Alarus just moments before saying “I have cleared my L4 mission but there over 200 veldspar ’roids in the 2nd room. How about a job?” Minimum quantities and removal fees were agreed upon swiftly and Alarus called in for his support.
Elizabeth was happy for the distraction as Lord Carvin was refusing to undock and face her without his supporting allies…just as he had done the night before. Much to Alarus’ dismay, Elizabeth had left Survey 3 back in Pakhshi and glossed over the details of the obviously incomplete task assigned to her of bringing the rest of the corporate owned assets in to Mirilene - SMSJ’s most recent base of operation. While Alarus headed towards his Hulk, he couldn’t help but sigh at his sister’s lack of responsibility and attention to detail. Elizabeth, recognizing that sigh, reassured him she would “be in the belt space before [he] can fill a jetcan” and closed the comm to shutdown her Tristan while ordering her crew to prep the shuttle. This looked like it was going to be a long work night and her crew could wake her once they arrived in Pakhshi. Perhaps a few hours of sleep will help pass the boredom.
